It was an emotional and fashionable night at the 2015 ESPYS. From Devon Still’s emotional acceptance speech to Caitlyn Jenner’s rousing testimony about embracing being transgender, we’re still drying our eyes while marveling the fabulous fashions that graced the red carpet.
Here are the most memorable moments from the star-studded night.
Caitlyn Jenner Inspired Us
Caitlyn Jenner bravely addressed the well-dressed audience as she accepted the Arthur Ashe award for courage in a stunning white Versace gown and equally flawless face. Her speech encouraged others to think twice about shaming the transgender community.
“If you want to call me names, make jokes, doubt my intentions, go ahead. I can take it. But the reality is for the thousands of kids out there coming to terms with who they are, they shouldn’t have to take it. So for the people out there wondering what this is all about, whether it’s about courage or publicity, it’s about what happens from here. It’s not just about one person. It’s about thousands of people. It’s not just about me, it’s about all of us accepting one another.”
Ronda Rousey Called Out Mayweather & It Was Awesome
Bad a** MMA fighter Ronda Rousey made sure to call Floyd Mayweather out by name on the biggest night in sports.
“I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once,” Rousey told ESPN on the carpet. She beat out Serena Williams for “Female Athlete Of The Year,” but congratulated her fellow sportswomen in her acceptance speech.

Devon Still accepted the Jimmy V award for perseverance and thanked his daughter for showing him the meaning of life.
“I know you wish you could be here, but I know you’re watching,” he said. “I just want to thank you. From the moment you [were] born, you molded me into the man I am today. I always used to dream about how I was going to be able to show you so much about life, but in the five years I’ve been with you, you’ve taught me more about life than I could ever do.”
