Jennifer Hudson graced the Swarovski crystal-designed stage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood where she performed I Can’t Let Go for the 87th Annual Academy Awards ceremony. Jennifer, who won an Oscar in 2006 for her film debut in Dreamgirls, was just one of the night’s musical performers which included numbers by John Legend and Common, Lady Gaga, Rita Orr, Adam Levine and others. Before singing the song, Jennifer stated:

This is for all the people who shared their talents and lives with us. We are forever changed.

With over 95,300 Swarovski crystals encompassed into the backdrop, Jennifer’s performance came after the Academy paid tribute to actors, directors, and crew members who passed away in 2014 and this year. Watch the performance below.
