Beck Responds To Kanye
Even Beck agrees Beyonce should have won album of the year at the 2015 Grammys. The 90s rock artist, who also took home “Best Rock Album” for his 2014 release “Morning Phase,” responded to Ye stage crash his acceptance speech.
“I was just so excited he was coming up. He deserves to be on stage as much as anybody,” Beck told US Weekly. “How many great records has he put out in the last five years right?”
When asked if he thought Beyonce should have won, he replied “Absolutely.” “I thought she was going to win. Come on, she’s Beyonce!”
As for Kanye’s “artistry” comment, Beck kept it cute and said, “You can’t please everybody, man,” he replied. “I still love him and think he’s genius. I aspire to do what he does.”
