Add Kendrick Lamar to the long list of people in the cross hairs of Azealia Banks. Lamar recently spoke to Billboard magazine and gave his thoughts on the current climate in Ferguson, Mo, Iggy Azalea, and the world coming to an end. Lamar’s comments on the treatment of minorities and, shooting death of unarmed Ferguson teen Michael Brown at the hands of police officer Darren Wilson struck a nerve in many including Mz. Banks. Lamar told Billboard:

I wish somebody would look in our neighborhood knowing that it’s already a situation, mentally, where it’s f—ed up. What happened to [Michael Brown] should’ve never happened. Never. But when we don’t have respect for ourselves, how do we expect them to respect us? It starts from within. Don’t start with just a rally, don’t start from looting — it starts from within.

Azealia voiced her outrage surrounding Lamar’s remarks on Twitter where she said:

Azealia does more reading online like she’s locked in a library.. So far Lamar hasn’t responded to her rebuttal.
