Who even remembered that Bill Cosby had a Twitter!? As the fallen (or falling) icon has remained nearly mute about his side of the sexual assault allegations, however when Whoopi Goldberg and Jill Scott both vocalized their support of the legendary actor and he hopped on Twitter to publicly thank them both for their support.

Goldberg publicly defended him “The View” during the cast roundtable discussion. “Quite honestly, look, I’m sorry, having been on both sides of this where people allege that you do something — it doesn’t matter now. The cat is out of the bag, people have it in their head,” Ms. Goldberg said. “I have a lot of questions for the lady. Maybe she’ll come on,” Whoopi said in response to Barbara Bowman coming out with allegations against Cosby. She continued, “I hope that there is justice for this lady. I hope somebody gets to the bottom of this, but I’m going to reserve my judgment because I have a lot of questions, as I said. It’s crazy, but I have a lot of questions, because I know we all have friends who have gone through this.”

At this point, 18 women have come out against Cosby. Many of the victims share similar haunting and disgusting details about their encounters with him. It’s shocking to hear women support Cosby, but to each their own. This situation shows that there’s a man who we have revered for decades living a double life of disgusting sexual perversion or there’s a living legend who has to face the world has his reputation crashes and burns as he struggles to hold on to whatever is left of his legacy. Either way, the story is a tragic one.
