Geneva S. Thomas is giving her side of the story of what really happened before she was arrested for allegedly stiffing a NYC cabbie.

As of Saturday afternoon, Geneva had only said that the claims about her were completely bogus and that she was planning to take legal action against the NYPD and the cab company. She’s now given her full account of what happened in a statement.

According to Geneva, she had every intention of paying the driver, but she wanted to use a credit card as opposed to paying him in cash. She let him know that as soon as she got in the cab, but she claims he was still very nasty to her once they took off.

And if there was any swindling going on in the cab, the driver was supposedly the one doing it. Geneva claims that he tried to run up the fare by taking a longer route, jacking the price up from $15 to over $25.

Even more outrageous than that, Geneva said that he also tried to force her out of the cab on a busy stretch of road. She claims that the NYPD only made the situation worse in her full statement below, which reads:

“On September 9, 2014, Geneva S. Thomas was involved in a dispute with a New York Yellow Taxi Cab Driver. Upon entering the vehicle, Geneva informed the driver of her desire to pay via credit card for services rendered and that she did not have cash. The driver became threatening and hostile following a line of question as he attempted to deviate from the planned route as a method to unfairly increase the fare. The driver became defensive and tried to force Geneva out of the vehicle in a highly trafficked area. Geneva placed two calls to 911 to diffuse the disagreement—once while she was in the cab and secondly upon arrival at her final destination. Geneva values the time and services of others, and was fully prepared to pay the agreed rate of $15.00. Geneva, along with bystanders on the scene, offered to pay, and the cops refused to allow anyone to do so. The New York Police Department proceeded with an immediate arrest without investigation. In this unfortunate situation, the New York Police Department’s unjust actions demonstrate an ongoing and well-documented pattern of behavior. The cab driver himself stated the arrest was unnecessary. Geneva finds these charges to be frivolous and unwarranted, and looks forward to proving her innocence. Geneva and her team will take action to create awareness ensuring this never happens to another woman in New York City ever again.

One fabulous Bravo reality star got arrested  for allegedly stiffing a New York City taxi driver.

This might be the most expensive cab ride in history.

Geneva S. Thomas of “Blood, Sweat & Heels” was arrested and booked on theft charges Tuesday for allegedly skipping out on an $18 cab fare, TMZ.com reports. A taxi company alleges that she neglected to pay one of their drivers before she hopped out of a vehicle, and authorities were able to find her because the cabbie wrote down the address of the location where she dropped off.

The savvy Bravo star is not taking the charges lying down because she argues that are completely fabricated, and she told TMZ that she’s planning to take the NYPD and the cab company to court. She’ll be facing them again either way because she is slated to appear before a judge this January.

Many people on Twitter are saying they don’t believe that Geneva would pull a stunt like this, but she hasn’t said much about what happened. We’ll keep you posted when she speaks out.
