Nicki Minaj is summoning her inner superhero for an upcoming episode of “Steven Universe”!

When she’s not dropping it low for the cover of “Anaconda,” Nicki’s a pretty talented voice actress! All those years switching up her tone for different alter egos (whatever happened to Martha and Roman?) has been great practice for her guest spot on the Cartoon Network series.

TV Guide reports that Nicki will be lending her voice to “Steven Universe” to play the larger-than-life gem warrior Sugilite, who’s a mega-sized cross between Steven’s teammates Amethyst and Garnet.

Fun Fact: the cast of “Steven Universe” already had one diva on the cast because “American Boy” siren Estelle voices Garnet!

Nicki’s episode of “Steven Universe” will air August 21 at 6:30 p.m. on Cartoon Network. This is not her first voice acting gig. The “Super Bass” rapper played Steffie in 2012’s Ice Age: Continental Drift.
