Beyonce’s Surprise Collabo With Boots
Who and what is a Boots? Before you go getting all “Harpo , who dis woman?” Boots is one of the masterminds behind six of her songs on “Beyonce” including “Haunted,” “Drunk in Love,” “Partition,” and “Jealous.” Boots, real name Jordy Asher, collaborated with Bey on his new single “Dreams,” off his mixtape “WinterSpringSummerFall.” He says he sent her the track and she responded with her vocals.
“It’s just a really cool testament to our friendship and relationship to do something like this,” Boots told Vogue. “I feel like I’ve been given my wings to fly. It’s the greatest kind of co-sign you could get, from someone who truly, truly believes in you.”
The proceeds from “Dreams” will go to Day One, a nonprofit organization that promotes dating violence awareness.
Are you feeling the sultry track?
