Madonna’s Lace Front Arm Pit Hair Shocks The Internet

It’s amazing how many ways Madonna manages to stay relevant…then again Madonna will always be relevant.

Something as simple as underpit hair has thrust the “Material Girl” back into headlines. Madge posted a picture of her lace front underarm hair on Instagram and damn near sparked a feminist movement (because women deserve the right to equally as hairy as men!)

“Long hair…… Don’t Care!!!!!! #artforfreedom #rebelheart #revolutionoflove,” she wrote. Madonna has always gone against the grain even if it meant “unladylike” pits. “[G]oing to high school, I saw how popular girls had to behave to get the boys. I knew I couldn’t fit into that. So I decided to do the opposite,” Madonna said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in 2011. “I refused to wear makeup, to have a hairstyle. I refused to shave. I had hairy armpits” (except when she’s wearing makeup of course).

Madonna just didn’t commit social suicide for no reason. Flashing her armpit was apart of her Art for Freedom global initiative that encourages creative expression. One thing Madonna exemplifies is creativity. That’s for sure!

Madonna’s Instagram is a place of controvery. Last week the living legend posted a photo posing next to Jesus and that time she called her Black son a “n*gga.”
