The Game Joining L&HHLA
D*mnit. We were really hoping Ray J would ditch his “Bad Girls Club” gig and sign on to “Love & Hip Hop LA” but apparently VH1 has moved on to new prospects and it looks like rapper The Game may be in the running. The controversial Compton emcee posted a photo of himself meeting with “L&HH” producer Mona Scott-Young with the caption “Business meeting with @MonaScottYoung @leauxsteez & the team…… Please do be scared !!!!!!!!!! #LHHLA”
We’re not here for The Game and his disrepectful antics. He would be a good fit though.

Jennifer Lopez is back…on the block! A few days ago, J. Lo posted a photo on her Instagram page riding the 6 train taking it back to her “On The 6” roots and now we have our first glance at the visuals for her tenth project “Same Girl.”
In other J. Lo news, she’s being sued by a man named Rodrigo Ruiz who believes she allegedly tricked him into sending her nude photos of himself. Unfortunately, it was a 53-year-old woman behind the requests making it the weirdest catfishing scheme ever. Ruiz claims J. Lo demanded he send her naked photos and demo CDs. He also believed he and J. Lo could have a relationship.

Women make less money than men. This is something that has plagued our society since the beginning of the workplace. Despite it being a well known inequality, it still exists. Beyonce recently spoke out about gender inequality in an essay she penned for TheShriverReport:
We need to stop buying into the myth about gender equality. It isn’t a reality yet. Today, women make up half of the U.S. workforce, but the average working woman earns only 77 percent of what the average working man makes. But unless women and men both say this is unacceptable, things will not change. Men have to demand that their wives, daughters, mothers, and sisters earn more—commensurate with their qualifications and not their gender. Equality will be achieved when men and women are granted equal pay and equal respect.
Humanity requires both men and women, and we are equally important and need one another. So why are we viewed as less than equal? These old attitudes are drilled into us from the very beginning. We have to teach our boys the rules of equality and respect, so that as they grow up, gender equality becomes a natural way of life. And we have to teach our girls that they can reach as high as humanly possible.
We have a lot of work to do, but we can get there if we work together. Women are more than 50 percent of the population and more than 50 percent of voters. We must demand that we all receive 100 percent of the opportunities.
