Balmain Reveals Why They Choose Rihanna For Their New Campaign [VIDEO]
It’s no secret I love me some RiRi. So I wasn’t at all surprised when Rihanna was recently revealed as the new face of the Balmain. In the video above, the French fashion house’s creative director, Oliver Rousteing tells us why he choose the Barbadian beauty for the new collection.
The 27-year-old powerhouse designer confessed that he designed the entire collection with Rihanna and her awesomeness in mind.
“Everything we have done together has been amazing,” RiRi says in one of the clips. “Now we get to shoot Balmain, which is freaking epic! Balmain has been a friend that I’ve loved for so long and now, to actually get to work with him… it’s brilliant!”
Oliver considers Rihanna a “new icon” and believes she is the girl we all want to know that knows how to perfectly mix fashion with music.
