Kerry Washington Doesn’t Look Herself On New ‘Lucky’ Cover

Kerry Washington is the 2013 magazine cover queen!

The “Scandal” star graced the covers of Vanity Fair, People, Glamour and Essence this year, now she’s the face of Lucky’s December 2013/January 2014 issue.

Editor-in-chief Eva Chen revealed Kerry’s cover on Twitter today, but she didn’t exactly get the response she was expecting.

“Just unveiled @LuckyMagazine’s December/January covergirl on @GMA: the indomitable @kerrywashington of @scandalABC,” she wrote.

Instead of praises, Twitterverse seemed to be pretty upset with the image magazine editors chose for the front of the book. Many fans said the actress looked unrecognizable due to bad lighting and editing.

Despite the criticism, the beautiful mom-to-be wasn’t phased by the naysayers. She responded by tweeting, “WOOO HOOO!” and changing her profile image. (This is why we love KW so much!)
