Nelly & Lenny Kravitz Set To Perform At Country Music Awards + 9 Genre-Switching Artists
The stage at this year’s Country Music Awards will be graced with a touch of hip-hop and rock ‘n roll.
According to the Associated Press, rocker Lenny Kravtiz and rapper Nelly are set to perform at the show in Nashville, Tennessee for the first time.

Kravtiz will accompany co-host Jason Aldean, while Nelly will hit the stage with Florida Georgia Line to perform their chart-topping hit “Cruise.”
This isn’t the first time Nelly found crossover success with country music. In 2004, the St. Louis native teamed up with country-western megastar Tim McGraw for a record called “Over and Over.”
The CMT Awards is schedule to air live on June 5 at 8 p.m.
