PRESS PLAY: Sevyn Streeter Gives You Ample Reason To ‘Come Over’
Aaliyah would be proud!
Atlantic Recording Artist Sevyn Streeter paid tribute to the late singer with an acoustic version of “Come Over’
Streeter, who co-wrote Chris Brown’s latest hit “Fine China“ went to Detroit and toured the high of the “One In A Million” singer. She was so moved, she wrote an open letter to Aaliyah.
The Florida native (whose real name Amber Denise Streeter) is gearing up for her debut album, may be new to most, but has made a career writing hits for the likes of Alicia Keys, Brandy, Kelly Rowland and Estelle.
Aaliyah was a musical talent that we lost too soon and will forever treasure. This rendition of a classic song, helps keep her musical memory alive, so I guess, a debt of gratitude is in order to Ms. Streeter.
Thanks mama!
