Jamie Foxx appeared on the MTV Movie Awards this weekend to accept his 2013 Generation Award while wearing a “KNOW JUSTICE” T-shirt to continue shedding light on the untimely death of unarmed teen, Trayvon Martin and the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting in Newtown, CT.

Foxx has been a vocal supporter of the Martin family, and has publicly declared to use his celebrity influence to fight for reformation, and apparently gun law reform. But it seems like Foxx’s message was lost amongst some of “post-racial” who tuned in to MTV Sunday night.

Tweets ranged from ignorant to shockingly ridiculous! I won’t post the ones that were downright horrible, but here’s an idea of the kind of ignorant stuff the children of the future have to say about Jamie’s political charged fashion choice:
