Is Phaedra Parks getting a divorce? Rumors that Phaedra, star of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is divorcing husband Apollo Nida have been swirling since at least 2012, when she was spotted in public without her wedding ring. Phae-Phae and Apollo, who married in 2009, are said to be having problems, and some websites have accused Nida of infidelity.

In April 2013, talk heated up as Apollo was spied in the Bahamas sans his missus, though as Tamara Tattles pointed out, Phaedra was pregnant at the time and only weeks away from giving birth to their second child, so it’s unlikely she was in any shape to be flying anywhere.

If Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida divorce, Bravo viewers might get to watch the whole saga unfold, as Parks is set to star in her own “Real Housewives” spinoff, “Rich People’s Problems.” Parks and Nida’s divorce would likely be an ugly one, as Phaedra is a season entertainment lawyer who amassed much of her $2 million fortune even before becoming a reality TV star.

Nida, meanwhile, works in asset recovery and has done at least two prison stints. If the website Jezebel.com is to be believed, he’s “a straight-up mobster,” and that might not bode well for his gaining custody of the couple’s two sons.

Of course, Phaedra Parks has given no indication she’s divorcing Apollo Nida, despite what gossip bloggers say. In July 2012, when divorce rumors first began making the rounds, a source told the Jasmine Brand that Phaedra and Apollo seemed happy at a party held by “Real Housewives” cast member Cynthia Bailey. Parks “was all smiles around, while she and Apollo seemed affectionate throughout the evening,” according to the spy. Here’s hoping these two make it work—if only for the sake of their two kids.
