Nicki Minaj‘s hairstylist who has created her many outrageous signature hairstyles is moving on! Terrence Davidson served as the celebrity hairstylist, wig creator and creative director for Nicki has had enough of the Barbie doll rapper and is moving on.
Terrence released the following statement:
“I would like to inform the media and supporters that I’ve decided to step away as hair stylist and wig creator for Nicki Minaj. It has been an amazing experience offering me a chance to express my creativity and exhibit my love for the art form of wig design. I have decided to part ways from Nicki Minaj because I would like to explore other opportunities within my own brand and re-energize my creativity through work in fashion editorial, beauty consultations, media personality, ‘how-to’ lectures and hair show development. I am very proud of the body of work built with Nicki Minaj and I appreciate the support over the years from fans who’ve expressed love for my craft. Look forward to seeing me larger than life in 2013”
The folks at Celebuzz are reporting that the resignation occurred following “a series of derogatory statements” directed towards Terrence by Nicki and her management.
“Minaj has had a tempestuous relationship with many of her staff,” said the site, reporting on a beauty therapist who met the mighty wrath of Minaj head on after a facial waxing session.
“After I waxed her eyebrows and lip, she started screaming “Who the f— do you think you are?” beauty therapist Dawn DaLuise said. “Look what you did to my damn face! You think this s— is worth $170?”
Nicki now has to fill that spot ASAP as she will definitely need a wig master for her upcoming”American Idol” appearances.
