This past weekend in Los Angeles was a huge weekend for events, parties and of course the big NBA All Star Game. Aside from the NBA activities, there were also celebrity events which included a signing party for Diego Cash, LaLa’s brother who was featured on her VH1 reality show, “LaLa’s Full Court Wedding.” Diego Cash is signed to Carmelo’s entertainment group, Krossover Entertainment, and in honor of his new found success, Diego celebrated with friends and family at Phillipe Chow Restaurant in Los Angeles. Among the attendees of the event were “106 & Park” hosts Rocsi and Terrence J, rapper Trina, and baller Kenyon Martin. The event was co-hosted by Manny Halley and his entertainment group, Imani Entertainment, along with Terrence J and of course LaLa and Carmelo Anthony.

I had a chance to catch up with Diego during the event who was so excited to be signed to Carmelo’s entertainment group. “Its a dream come true,” he expressed when asked how it felt to be working alongside his successful family in this business. “Carmelo is my brother, and I’m so happy to be able to work with him in my career.” Both Lala and Carmelo seemed super happy to be there to witness Diego’s successful night, and couldn’t stop expressing how proud they were of him!

Carmelo also gave a little insight on the decision to move back to the east coast for basketball, stating “New York and the east coast in general is home to me, I was born there, my family is there, so that definitely plays a role in this decision.”

According to the YBF.com, cameras were following Lala and Carmelo around all night, leaving us to believe that there is a season two of their reality show in the works. Definitely can’t wait to see it!
