FIRST LOOK: Keri Hilson As The Face Of AVON Cosmetics

Keri Hilson has a new job to add to her résumé: Avon lady. The singer-songwriter has signed on to become the face of the beauty company’s fragrance line.

Hilson will lend her star power to Imari, Imari Seduction, and Avon’s flagship Color brand.

In WWD, an Avon rep explained,

“We had a great partnership with Jennifer Hudson, and we found that so powerful that, in the same spirit, we wanted to take it a step further. Keri just brings a youth and vitality to our brand. I think that she’s just the perfect transition.”

Keri added,

“I’m so excited and honored to be Avon’s newest face. Avon has always been dedicated to empowering women through beauty. I’ve always strived to do the same with my music. To be a part of that experience means a tremendous amount to me.”

“I’m really careful. I don’t want to be affiliated with too many brands. It’s got to make sense, and it makes sense [with Avon.] I love fragrance. I love beauty. I love to teach women that they should feel confident and feel good about themselves for themselves.”
