Take a cue from Zoe Saldana: An easy—and sultry—way to play with purple is by wearing it along the lower lashes.
1. Begin by lining the rims of the eyes with a black pencil, like Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner in Black Velvet.
2. Then scribble the pencil on the back of your hand, and, using a slightly stiff eye shadow brush, add in a bright purple shadow—Nars Single Eyeshadow in Daphne does the trick.
3. Drag the mixture along your lower lashes, and blend the edges with a sponge or a clean shadow brush. Done!
