Robin Thicke and Lil’ Wayne reunite on “Pretty Lil’ Heart,” the lead single from Robin’s upcoming fifth album Love After War. Originally paired up on 2005’s “Shooters,” the two join forces again in the slow-moving old-school soul song.
Lil’ Wayne half-sings half-raps over a midtempo piano, guitar string-plucking and horn-blowing, while Robin croons in his lower register:
“Tell me that I’m sexy / Like I was before / Tell me I got it / That you want it even more / Tell me that you’ll never, ever / Ever leave me side, side / Tell me cause you know / I need to hear it every night / Baby you got me, don’t worry your pretty little heart…”
