1. 2014 FALL TV ROUNDUP
Sadly the summer of 2014 has come to an abrupt end. It was just last week that we were enjoying cold brews at that swanky rooftop BBQ. Sigh. It’s time to let go. We’ve taken back to our living rooms and turned on the TV and are scrolling aimlessly through the guide. That’s because all of the good shows premiere this week and, Black Hollywood is taking over! Find out which shows you should be watching this season.
2. “Love & Hip Hop LA”
Chile, “Love & Hip Hop” in any city is our guilty pleasure! But we can’t front, Mona pulled out all the stops this season with a new LA cast featuring: Ray J, Teairra Mari, Omarion, Soulja Boy, Yung Burg and Lil Fizz. Between Teairra Mari’s hot-headed behavior and Yung Berg’s player ways, Monday nights are about to be #turntup!
Premiere: September 15 at 8 PM on VH1
If you’re a comic book fanatic, you already know where we’re going with this one. FOX’s action-packed new series “Gotham” will follow Jim Gordan as he navigates his way through Gotham City. The series will showcase the origins of classic villains and vigilantes such as Poison Ivy, Penguin, Catwoman and the gangster role of Fish Monkey played by Jada Pinkett Smith.
Premiere: September 22 on FOX
4. “Tamar & Vince”
Tamar Braxton’s career took off with the release of her song “Love & War,” but has chasing her dream ruined her relationship with her MANager? We’ll find out this season on the WeTV.
Premiere: October on WeTV
5. “Dancing With The Stars”
We’re going to be brutally honest, the only reason we’re tuning in to “Dancing With The Stars” this season (sans NeNE Leakes) is because we’re hoping Alfonso Ribeiro does “the Carlton.” The “French Prince” star joined the “DWTS” cast and we haven’t been this excited since the “Love & Hip Hop LA” trailer. Olympian Lolo Jones is also on the cast.
Premiere: Sept. 15 at 8 pm on ABC.
6. “Hollywood Divas”
Ever wonder what happened to your favorite TV show stars? Golden Brooks (“Girlfriends”), Countess Vaughn (“The Parkers”), Lisa Wu (“Real Housewives of Atlanta”), Paula Jai Parker (“Hustle and Flow”) and Elise Neal (“The Hughleys”) have reemerged to share their stories about the strife behind the Hollywood glamour on “Hollywood Divas”–TV One’s latest divalicious show.
Premiere: October 8 at 10pm on TVOne
