4. Kim Zolciak’s spin-off pushed back
Bravo’s going to be a little tardy with Kim Zolciak’s spin-off. Although it hasn’t been officially announced, “Don’t Be Tardy” is being held for an extra week before making its big debut on Bravo. Originally slated to premiere on April 9, Kim’s spin-off won’t join Bravo’s Tuesday night lineup until April 16 at 9 p.m. The network will air back-to-back episodes as the lead-in to Kandi Burruss’ “The Kandi Factory.”
5. Vanessa Simmons to star in ‘My First Loves’
Vanessa Simmons is ready for her closeup as the leading lady in “My First Loves.” It’s been announced that the model/Pastry founder has just secured the starring role in Dominga Martin’s first feature film.
“I fell in Love with the very candid story of one girls quest in life to find true love, a story I can relate to quite well ” Vanessa said in a press release about her casting in the romantic comedy.
Dominga has high expectations of Vanessa, who will be introduced as the star of “My First Loves” by House of Ming.
“I am excited to work with Vanessa Simmons in her first leading role”, says Ms. Martin about her choice of the leading lady. She continues, “I believe she is this generation’s Diahann Caroll or Dorothy Dandridge. She has range; she’s classy, FRESH and has a quiet strength.
