The great fashion icon Oscar de la Renta has died at 82. Before his passing October 20, 2014, he designed pieces that will live on in fashion history. Since 1965, his work has been seen wherever influential women are gathered: on runways, red carpets and in real life as he’s dressed women from celebrities to first ladies. A powerful moment called for a power design! Bey wore a red Oscar de la Renta dress to co-host, along with her husband Jay-Z, a fundraising event for Barack Obama’s reelection campaign in 2012.
