I am extremely fed up with the check out line at most stores. Let me explain. Usually when you are checking out there are always products for you to buy. Whether it be candy, magazines, whatever. Now, I understand that product placement is a major part of how most companies make money but it doesn’t mean I have to like it.
Just this past weekend my daughter and I went by Marshall’s and of course the line was a mile long. To make matters worse, there were a million and one products for my daughter to pick up. So not only do we have to wait in line for a long time but while we are waiting I have to make sure my daughter didn’t pick up everything she saw.
This situation repeats itself in almost every store we go to and the mother’s out there I know you know what I’m talking about. I am convinced that these stores display these products just for the people with kids because they know that most of us will end up giving in and buy something just so our kids will behave. Well not this mother! I am fed up and I am not going to take it anymore. I am done giving in to the mighty rapture of retail. Don’t fall victim to the check out line.
