Black Actress Cast As One Of “Charlie’s Angels” For TV Remake
Meet Annie Ilonzeh, the 27-year-old actress who has signed on for the ABC remake of “Charlie’s Angels.” Best known for her role on “General Hospital,” Annie will be playing an angel named Kate.
“Kate” is a smart and athletic ex-cop who also happens to be a master of martial arts. She is said to be the most serious of the trio of private eyes, but also knows how to enjoy herself. The new “Angels” will move the crime-fighting action from its original Los Angeles locale to Miami.
Ilonzeh has made guest appearance on “Entourage” and “Melrose Place.” SOURCE
