Kim Kardashian Releases Statement On Her Divorce:”It Was Not An Easy Decision”
After filing for divorce just 72 days of marriage to Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian has released a statement to E! News regarding her divorce:
“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage,” she said. “I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”
In her divorce filing, Kim cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce, and the reality star is asking that Kris pay for his own lawyer fees and that she’ll do the same. She also asks the court to reject any attempt by Kris to get spousal support.
