Gabby Douglas looks amazing as the latest cover girl for ESSENCE for their Women Of The Year Issue. In the cover story “Gabby Takes Flight,” she dishes on life after making Olympic history. Although she’s good friends with our FLOTUS, just snagged a beauty campaign with OPI, and has a guest spot on “The Vampire Diaries”–she’s still just your average 16-year-old girl who hasn’t let her stardom turn her into a young diva.

“In my dreams I didn’t think about how many shows I would be on and how many people would tweet me…it’s so cool!” Gabby told ESSENCE.
