We showed you the first “Sex & The City 2” trailer back in December. Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) was sauntering down a city sidewalk, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) was baking cupcakes with her 2-year-old daughter and Samantha (Kim Cattrall) was working at what appears to be a wedding (the rumored same-sex Stanford Blatch-Anthony Marantino nuptials, perhaps?).
Boring, boring, boring.
This newly-surfaced trailer is SO much better.
Sure, everything seems to working out with Miranda and Steve, and Samantha is as vibrant (and as sexual) as always, but everything’s not so peachy keen with the rest of the girls. Charlotte is in desperate need of a break from Mommy-hood and Carrie, well, she said it best: Her and Big have become a “little too Mr. and Mrs. Married.”
With Penelope Cruz playing a sultry seductress who catches Big’s eye and Aiden crossing paths with Carrie once again, we can only imagine what type of drama is in store!
