On the heels of Valentine’s Day, I remind you ladies to not only love others but to love yourself. Heart disease is the number one killer of women. I visited The Heart Truth® suite inside the main tent at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, a display created to raise awareness of heart disease. The Heart Truth® urges you to take action to protect your heart health. Red dresses strolled down the runway last week on the backs of celebrities lending their time and names to this worthy cause. They will be on auction at http://www.clothesoffourback.org, proceeds to benefit Foundation for the National Institutes of Health. The 2010 Red Dress Collection is presented by Diet Coke, who has created a signature bottle just for the occasion. Inside the booth I was able to see the Swarovski dress and chat with Meagan. Know your numbers: blood pressure, cholesterol, weight and blood glucose. Remember, a little self love goes a long way!
