Allow me to introduce Tarte Cosmetics to your makeup bags. I’ve been a fan of anything MAC Cosmetics for years, but I knew it was time for a change.
I learned about emphasEYES Brow High-Definition Brow Pencil($19.50, tartecosmetics.com) after being invited backstage to see the makeup looks before a fashion show during New York Fashion Week last season. I knew that I had to have this product because it’s different from the rest – it’s waterproof. When I finally started using this product I was very happy and feel confident telling you that this product really does work. Some brow products wipe off at the first sign of sweat, but this one stays put. I do have one bone to pick: only two shades are offered (medium and taupe). Tarte should offer a shade in between since I think the medium brown is a little dark for my taste since my brows are a light brown shade. But with that said, I threw caution to the wind and am currently wearing the medium brown. New Year New Attitude I say.
