If you love Alicia Keys’ look on the cover of her new Album, “Elements Of Freedom,” and we have a few easy steps to help you recreate the flawless look.

Glamour Magazine got Ashunta Sheriff Alicia’s makeup artist-extraordinaire to share a few of her secrets. Here’s her guide for how to copy Alicia’s “Elements” eye makeup.

Step 1

Use: Ardell Fashion Lashes –  $5.99

Asunta says: “My favorite part was creating Alicia’s long and luscious lashes.”

To get them extra-dramatic, she bought two sets of inexpensive Ardell faux lashes (the “demi” style), cut the strips into thirds, then glued these smaller pieces close to the lash line, staggering and layering them.

Step 2

Use: Lash blast length Mascara Covergirl – $7.79

Next she applied two coats of Cover Girl Lash Blash Length mascara in black, to softly blend the lashes with Alicia’s real ones.

Step 3

Use: Laura Mercier Satinee Creme Eye Color in Rum Satin – $22.00

As for the shadow: “I wanted Alicia’s eyes to have some color, but very natural,” Ashunta says–she wanted to keep the focus on the lashes and the eyes’ shape. She chose a warm neutral shade, Mary Kay loose shimmer eye shadow in Cashmere, brushing it over Alicia’s entire lid (unfortunately this shade’s no longer sold–but Ashunta says Laura Mercier Satinee Creme Eye Color in Rum Satin is a great, easy-to-apply substitute).

The end result is a look that Asunta describes as “soft, beautiful and ethereal.”  Here’s what it should look like:

Judging from Alicia’s gorgeous album photo’s, Asunta’s tips are sure to have you looking beautiful in just 3 easy steps. Give it a try!
