In the era of digital marketing and social media, differentiating yourself is key. As an entrepreneur, it is literally life or death for your brand. If you want to achieve something outstanding and get results you’ve never gotten before, you’re going to have to trust your gut. Latesha Williams did just that.

Latesha is the co-founder of Cards for All People, which makes fun, nostalgia-filled card games that test knowledge of cultural milestones and moments. Of those card games, Black Card Revoked has easily become a phenomenon all on its own. Black Card Revoked tests your knowledge of Black culture. The brand’s Instagram has more than 11,000 followers, and counting. If you search social media with the hashtag #BlackCardRevoked, you’ll discover Black people across America having a heated discussion about their answers. Let’s just say Latesha hit a goldmine by boxing up our Black experience.

But how did this Bedford-Stuyvesant native crack the code to success and rise above the competition? With an experimental approach, and listening to her instincts. In an interview with HelloBeautiful, Latesha said, “It’s a lot of trial-and-error. I just always have this hunch that if you throw it out there and if it’s something, you run with it.”
