Keshia was shocked, as was most of the world, to learn her husband of only seven months decided to serve her with divorce papers — just a week after she announced she was pregnant with the couple’s first child, a baby girl. Now she wants to set the record straight once and for all on exactly what happened in her short marriage and she gave Entertainment Tonight the exclusive.
Since news broke, there have been countless rumors flying as to what went wrong. Well, Keshia is an industry veteran and she knows how to get ahead of a story and tell the truth before things get out of hand and that’s just want she did in a raw and tearful interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Check out some of the excerpts from her interview:
[On Ed Hartwell cheating in the past]:
“Early on in my marriage when I was faced with this, I was ready to leave. It’s not OK,” Pulliam says. “In the process, I found out I was pregnant. And I had to take another hard look and decide if I wanted to try to work through this and forgive him for the sake of the child. Like, I had divorce papers ready. I presented it to him. … Once I was pregnant I did decide to give him that one last chance. The part that hurt me the most when he filed for divorce was that he had asked me to give him another chance, and I was willing to do that and forgive him, for our family,” she claims.
[On the couple deciding to have a child]:
“This is his baby. He wanted more children. He was excited once he found out that we were having a little girl. There was never a question about that. … No point after we got pregnant was there an issue of the fact that we’re having a baby.”

Additionally, when asked if she was still in love with Ed, Keshia tearfully replied that she was in love with the man he pretended to be. She also stated her number one concern is her daughter.
This is an unfortunate and heartbreaking situation, and we wish Keshia all the best.
