Recording artist Alicia Keys was among many celebrity attendees at the Democratic National Convention last night, when Hillary Clinton was officially named the Democratic nominee for president.
The room was somber when the “Mothers of the Movement,” including the mothers of Sandra Bland, Jordan Davis, and Trayvon Martin, appeared on stage to advocate for Clinton.
Alicia posed with the mothers and posted the photo on Instagram after an emotional performance of her hit song “Superwoman.”
