Zendaya gives us regular doses of life.
The 19-year-old is incredibly poised, focused, and self-confident. All these reasons and more explain why she’s been able to take charge of her career by becoming the face of Cover Girl and return to the Disney Channel as a co-producer.
For the cover of Cosmopolitan the actress talked about her recent business decision, specifically concerning a member of her team. “I didnāt like my hair and makeup one time on a photo shoot, and my publicist told me, āYou should just be happy with it ā they havenāt had a black girl on the cover since forever,'” Coleman said. “Sheās no longer my publicist.”
Adding, “The only way I was going to come back to the Disney Channel was if I was in a position of more power. One thing that is really important to me is diversity on the channel. Itās hard as a young person of a different ethnicity or background to look at the TV and not see anyone who looks like you. Representation is important.”
In addition to modeling for major makeup brands and producing/starring in the new series called K.C. Undercover, she’s also slaying the fashion game attending hot ticket events, as a front row guest.
She recently attended the Louis Vuitton 2017 show in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. While there she relaxed with family at the Rothschild’s villa through Airbnb. The star shared photos of the stunning home.
Season two of K.C. Undercover returns June 19 on the Disney Channel.
