I was just about to call Mariah Carey shady after watching her appearance on “What What Happens Live” then I realized, she has a point about this whole not knowing Jennifer Lopez thing. Last night the diva of all divas elaborated on a statement she made about J. Lo, saying,

“It wasn’t like I don’t know who she is—of course I do. That’s not the question.”

Mariah then explained she met Jennifer Lopez and shared a casual greeting or two, but can’t tell you much about the Latina entertainer because she’s never actually had a conversation with her.

“I don’t know her,” Carey reiterated. “What am I supposed to say? I’m not going to put on a thing like we’re all Hollywood and let’s pretend we’re best friends.”
