Steve Harvey turned his daytime talk show set into the set of the classic sitcom “Good Times” and sent us on a nostalgic journey when the cast reunited on his stage.
The gang was all there: Ralph Carter (Michael Evans), Bern Nadette Stanis (Thelma Evans) and Jimmie Walker (JJ Evans), Johnny Brown, (who played the building superintendent), Nathan Bookman and Ja’net Dubois made appearances.
According to fan favorite Jimmie Walker, “Good Times” resonated with the Black community so much because they liked seeing a Black family on TV.

The segment kicked off Steve’s “Where Are They Now?” week that will revisit Steve’s favorite shows, dating back to the 70s. The cast of “A Different World” will appear on the show on Friday.
