A California man is suing Kanye West and Jay Z for allegedly conning fans into signing up for Tidal to buy “Life Of Pablo,” NBC news reports.

The suit claims that the “Watch The Throne” artists told fans that they would have exclusive access to Kanye’s album on Tidal, but the album has now appeared on other streaming services.

The attorneys are seeking class-action status to represent 2 million Tidal subscribers, the site reports.

And they have receipts:

Oop!

The suit calls the marketing tactic “deceptive” and a “ploy” to get more subscribers.

Yikes.
