New York Fashion Week has come to an end, but the trends are just heating up. From the runway to your wardrobe, here are the four trends that you definitely need to add. These looks will help you Fall into fashion perfectly!
Fur-real
Whether it’s faux or real, you definitely need some fur in your wardrobe. Fur automatically ups the chic-factor of any look. One of my personal favorite ways to wear fur is to juxtapose it with something more casual. This is an easy way to make a runway look wearable.

Fur was seen on many runways from Marc Jacobs to Calvin Klein. But if the fur is too much for you, then you can always accent with fur as shown below by Altuzurra.

Print Party
It will be all about prints for Fall/Winter 2016. Prints are a great way to create an eye-catching outfit and make a statement. One of our favorite designers, Reuben Reule, Creative Director of Demestiks New York has some of my amazing Ankara prints. The fashion world is catching on to the fun of prints and it was seen all over the runway. Mix prints for some unmatching, yet matching, style! Desigual showed some great prints on the runway and easy ways to wear them.

If you are afraid of prints, you can can start small and wear them as an accessory, like the Desigual hat above.

Mixed Media

Texture can change the entire feel of an outfit. Multiple textures and you look like a fashionista without necessarily having to overcomplicate your outfit. Desigual played heavily with textures this season also mixing patterns and prints for interesting and desirable looks.

Concept Korea shows that you can have mixed media in a monochromatic manner. This above runway look can be worn straight into the office. If the hemline is too aggressive for your office space, just add some tights.
Metallic Mania
Metallics are the new neutral. A pop of metallic can modernize your look while an allover metallic look exudes effervescence. We saw a lot of last season’s golds replaced with it, so keep that in mind while you’re building it up.
Not sure what to wear with silver metallic? Pair with black to neutralize the look or add a pop of color if you are feeling adventurous. Shine on!

Feminizing Menswear
The menswear trend is the ultimate classy look.
Androgyny is in and while you can still throw on last season’s relaxed fit suit, designers upgraded the look by using menswear patterns and lots of tailoring. Use this trend to dress for the job you want, not the job you have. This board room style will raise your fashion standards (and your paygrade!).

Purple Reign
Purple is the color of royalty. Express to the world the Queen that you are in this fabulous color.

Yes, I know: purple can be hard to wear. Afraid you are going to look like Barney? Break up the look with gray, as shown by Concept Korea. I prefer gray and purple to black and purple because it softens the look immensely.

If purple is too aggressive of a color for you, then just wear pops of it on your look. Buy a purple hat or a purple handbag for a subtle but stately look.
