Do you remember when Toni Braxton’s “Breathe Again” first hit the radio back in 1993 on her self-titled debut album?

That year was too lit for Toni: we were loving her husky, sexy singing voice and her uber-romantic music videos that made us feel like we were in a fairy tale. For most of us, Toni was absolutely everything, with her cute face and soft, seductive eyes.  Plus, she was just coming off of her success from being on the wildly popular Boomerang soundtrack from 1992 when everyone couldn’t get enough of her hit song, “Love Shoulda Brought You Home.”

It’s funny to think of little Toni before she even made it to fame as a solo artist, like back in 1990 when she was singing alongside her sisters in their group, The Braxtons. The talented sisters were singing classics like “The Good Life” and “Family” when they caught Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Antonio “L.A.” Reid’s attention. Those songs would be the ones that eventually landed Toni the solo success she is basking in today.

Which is your favorite song from Toni’s first album? “Seven Whole Days”? “Another Sad Love Song”? “You Mean The World To Me”? Tell us which ones you love most in the comments below!

Don’t forget to tune into “TONI BRAXTON: THE MOVIE EVENT” on Lifetime, Jan. 23 at 8/7c!
