Philadelphia Judge Genece Brinkley was less than empathetic towards rapper Meek Mill during his hearing for violating the conditions of his parole.

Brinkley said that she’s been more than lenient with the 28-year-old but he’s been less than respectful.

Every 60-days Meek is supposed to report to court and disclose his upcoming itinerary which he’s failed to do. He most recently left Philly and traveled to LA for the American Music Awards (AMAs).

The judge also said Meek committed a “technical violation” by submitting cold water in place of a urine test. Supposedly, a protein shake affected the sample.

Meek’s new defense attorney, Frank DeSimone reminded the judge that his profession makes it hard for him remember the rules of his parole. “He’s not a lawyer. He’s not a person who knows how to keep schedules,” DeSimone said. “He’s an artist. And he’s creative. Those people are notoriously slipshod.”

Meanwhile, Meek tried to convince that judge that’s he’s learned his lesson since being convicted of illegally possessing a fire arm in 2009. “This became a checkpoint in my life where it always made me make better decisions as a man,” he said. “I believe I have a lot of growing to do. I can continue to be great if you continue to give me a chance.””

Music executive Kenny Gamble testified as one of Meek’s character witnessed saying, “He’s the voice to the voiceless, and they listen to him,” Gamble said. “Our arms are open wide to brother Meek.”

Former Philadelphia Municipal Court Judge Jimmie Moore also gave character testimony, praising Meek’s growth and his ability to be a role model to the youth. “I’m not familiar with your client’s music, but he has voice. A voice young folks will listen to, and a voice we need. For that reason, I’m here” said Moore.

The prosecutor retorted, “He doesn’t have character. He’s a convicted felon” said the Assistant District Attorney, Noel DeSantis.

The judge also adding, “How many times am I supposed to give him chances? You know I’ve been helping him since 2009 … I ask you, how many times am I supposed to give him a second, third, fourth, fifth chance?”

The Maybach Music rapper is not allowed to perform even if it’s in Philly unti the court reconvenes in February.

Beauties, since Nicki is at the height of her career, would it be in her best interest to just cut her losses and move on if Meek goes back to jail?
