Dascha Polanco Facing Assault Charges

Orange Is The New Black starĀ Dascha PolancoĀ is facing real life legal issues.
She appeared in court on four accounts of assault and harassment,Ā E! OnlineĀ reports.
The case involves a 17-year-old girl named Michelle Cardona, who accused Polanco of scratching up her arms and pulling her hair, according to Page Six.
Her lawyer Gerald Lefcourt defends the 33-year-old actress saying this is all a plot to get money.
‘We expect the case to be dismissed,’ he toldĀ People.Ā
This is an ironic case,Ā given the actress plays a woman in jail on the small screen.
If the claims are false, we hope she won’t be getting locked up in real life.
