Did you know Adele had a sense of humor? The Brit is known for her serious, emotional, “have-you-in-your-feelings-about your-ex” ballads. So we absolutely loved seeing a more playful side of the 27-year-old.
In a segment for the BBC, Adele and TV host Graham Norton plotted to trick nine Adele impersonators. The Grammy and Oscar Award winning singer was fitted with a prosthetic nose, ‘bum chin’ and long gloves “cause of all my tattoos!”
Adele aka Jenny waited in a line, mingled with the other women and said she was a nanny. The superfans even unknowingly talked about her, in front of her face!
“I can’t wait for the new music” one woman said, “She’s taking her time with that new album” replied Jenny. “Try saying that to her face!” said another participant.
The women shared that they had been impersonating Adele, some for months, others for as long as five years. Jenny said she’s only been singing for four years because, “there isn’t much of a demand” LOL!
When the moment of truth arrives, Jenny says she’s nervous and misses her cue. But when she opens her mouth…! The other women nearly have a heart attack and begin crying when they realize who “Jenny” really is!
Check out the hilariously cute clip! Beauties, which of your favorite singers would you love to see go undercover and prank their fans?
