This is so troubling.

Taiwo Sobamowo, a nurse who was employed to care for Bobbi Kristina while she was in hospice, is facing identity fraud and nursing without a license charges.

Using a stolen RN’s license number, Sobamowo impersonated a medical professional at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, where the only child of Whitney Houston spent her last days.

Questions were raised in September when authorities were tipped off that there may be a discrepancy in Sobamowo’s reported identity.

According to The Associated PressHomestead Hospice CEO Mallie Sharafat said the company performed a background check and reviewed references from other health care agencies in the area.

“We had no reason to believe that she was anything other than a good nurse with proper credentials,” Sharafat wrote. “As soon as the credentialing discrepancy was discovered by one of our employees, we immediately took action and notified the appropriate authorities.”

As of now, the police report does not mention if Brown’s care was affected by Sobamowo’s presence, but the case is still being investigated.
