The Miss America Pageant Apologizes To Vanessa Williams

After more than 30 years, the Miss America pageant apologized to Vanessa Williams for forcing her to give up her crown following a nude photo scandal in 1984.

“I want to apologize for anything that was said or done that made you feel any less the Miss America you are and the Miss America you always will be,” Miss America CEO Sam Haskell said.

Vanessa Williams has flourished 30 years without an apology for the organization. No doubt, she’ll definitely continue to shine.
