Nicki Minaj announced on Thursday that she is the opening act for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. Minaj, poked at the latest gossip that she’s pregnant by posting an image of a tiny MTV Moonman in a sonogram.
Having just ended her global, sold-out tour, The Pinkprint Tour, Minaj returns to the VMA stage that she. She made her VMA debut at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards pre-show; took to the main stage in 2012 to join Alicia Keys on “Girl on Fire,” and gave a high energy performance of “Anaconda” last year.
Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Tori Kelly, A$AP Rocky and Twenty One Pilots are also confirmed performers. Presenters will be announced at a later date, but Miley Cyrus as hosting.
