Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson were married for like, two days yet Johnson had the nerve to try to get her WNBA superstar ex-wife to come up off that dough for spousal support. According to TMZ, Johnson was demanding $20,000 a month, plus other fees, from Griner even though they were only married for just under a month (28 days).

Johnson claimed she needed the money to pay for things like food and staff, and in addition to that, she wanted Griner to foot the monthly bill for her Mercedes Benz, as well as an additional $10k for her legal bills.

However, the judge presiding over the case was not about that life and denied the requests. Griner’s legal team is pleased with the ruling because they feel that a 28 day marriage does not entitle Johnson to Griner’s money like that.

Amen.

The couple had a volatile relationship before and during their short-lived marriage. Johnson is currently pregnant with twins, and has insinuated that Griner has a financial obligation to take care of them so this court drama probably isn’t over.

Messy boots.
