IRS Data Breach Now Estimated To Have Hit 334,000 Americans

The IRS is reeling from embarrassment now that the potential victims of stolen tax information has ballooned by another 220,000, bringing the total number of those impacted to 334,000. The IRS has also announced that the breach started earlier than previously thought—as early as May. Meanwhile, the Office of Personnel Management is also suffering from a data breach that has affected over 21 million people. Read more at ABC News.
