Loretta Lynch Compels Ferguson Authorities To Build “Trust, Respect & Understanding”

Attorney General Loretta Lynch has expressed her disdain for the shootout that recently occurred between a Ferguson teenager and local police. Lynch stated: “I strongly condemn the violence against the community, including police officers, in Ferguson. As we have seen over the recent months and years, not only does violence obscure any message of peaceful protest, it places the community, as well as the officers who seek to protect it, in harm’s way.” Lynch has notably been going against her predecessor, Eric Holder’s legacy in thoroughly criticizing cops for their racist behaviors. Lynch has been praising the police as “guardians” that have the ability to make peace for the communities they serve. Read more at the Huffington Post and the Washington Times.
